The movement

For the 30 days of June 2026, Sydney makeup artist Danielle Butcher wears a different red lipstick each day and shares it across social media, inviting the audience to join in and post their own red lip. Every post raises Awareness for the cause and funds for WAGEC (Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre).

A movement that is instantly recognisable and offers something real for the audience to participate in. The movement grows organically. The community grows globally. This June, every June, the world gets a little kinder for the families who need it most.

The more posts, the more Awareness. The more Awareness, the more funds.

Our 2026 target is $50,000. Every dollar goes to WAGEC.

How it works

Everybody needs new content. Every brand needs a reason to post. RED for a REASON is that reason in June.
